Let’s just start off by saying Ray is in his 15th surgery right now, and this could be his last time in OR!!! Great news came today, doctors spoke to Donna and told her they were hoping to get the skin grafts done closing up his leg and left arm. Then in a few weeks they will check to make sure the grafting works, and he will be ½ home with the recovery. They also set a possible time frame that he would be leaving for Walter Reed Hospital in approximately 3 weeks ****if all goes well**** Once in Walter Reed they are saying he should be an inpatient for maybe a month then continue as an outpatient patient!!!!!!! I am so excited I want to cry.!!! They also are very encouraging about Ray possibly being able to attend his platoons Homecoming around the end of August beginning of September !! I know this will be a huge treat not only to my brother, but to his Marine brothers who are still in Iraq!!!

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR ALL YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS!!!!!!

Hey bro. This is Sandefur. I just realized that we missed your birthday. I wanted to wish you a happy belated birthday. I hope everything is going good. We all miss you and talk about you on a daily basis. We are all trying to plan a trip to see you when we get back. They tell us that well be back a Lejeune around the 26th of August. I believe Norris will be there waiting. Im not sure though. Well, we pray and think about you every day and cant wait to see you again. TTYL. Kenneth

Good job Marine. May the Lord Jesus grant you much grace throughout your recovery. There are many that are lifting you up daily.
