WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

All I can say is thank you EVERYONE - as always the community pulled together once again and really showed your support this weekend. Especially thanks go to the American Legion Post 133, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2174 and The Marine Detachment Group (sorry Ron & Pat if I didn't write the right name). Our committee was filled with many wonderful volunteers. Terry, I believe you had one of the hardest jobs - THANKS - for all your long hours keeping everything organized. I know there are many more I really need to thank but I am afraid I will screw something up, so I will just thank everyone! The weather was beautiful, the crowd was huge and the party began! What a big SUCCESS!!! I do believe everyone who attended had a great time. I know I did!

On a side note: Darren you are truly one amazing man! From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for coming into our lives and making a difference! You will forever be a part of this family!

I just wanted to THANK EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!! Friday night was amazing. Our community, family and friends are the best in the world! Ray was so amazed that, that many people showed up to welcome him home! Although I thought it was going to be a good turnout, in my wildest dreams I did not imagine it to be that tremendous. So from the bottom of our hearts we want to thank everyone!

Hey Everyone! Sorry I haven't updated in awhile, but there has been so much happening. Ray has been moved to an outpatient program at Walter Reed Hospital. He is still doing great! Last week he got a chance to go to a Baltimore Orioles game, and this past weekend he finally was united with his Marines. Ray accompanied by his fiancee Sherri, sister Sherri, and mom and dad drove to Camp Lejuene to be there for his Unit's homecoming. I heard there were not many dry eyes. As soon as I get more details I will let you all know. For now, Ray is staying at the Mologne House on the base at Walter Reed getting his physical therapy. I changed his contact information for anyone who still would like to drop him a card. Thanks everyone!!!

Ray has been transferred to Walter Reed Army Hospital. It is not far from Bethesda maybe 15 minutes.

Walter Reed Army Medical Center is located in Northern Washington, D.C. at 7100 Georgia Ave. N.W., Washington, DC 20307 between Rock Creek Park and Georgia Avenue near the Maryland - District of Columbia boundary.

As soon as I get his room information I will let everyone know.
